Hautecombe Discipleship School :
a Christian gap year
Hautecombe Discipleship School’s programme is biblical, theological and spiritual.
It takes place at Hautecombe Abbey, and is run by the Chemin Neuf Community.
Through a life of prayer, spiritual and human formation, Hautecombe Discipleship School [HDS][HDS] offers the possibility to grow in the knowledge of Christ and discover your calling.
Each year, young adults from all over the world take time out to be grounded in their faith, to become disciples, and transform the world.

WHO ARE WE?
The Chemin Neuf Community
Born from a prayer group in 1973 in Lyon (France), the Chemin Neuf Community (CCN) is a Catholic community with an ecumenical vocation. Today it has nearly 2000 members in some thirty countries.
Couples, families, consecrated single men and women have chosen the adventure of community life in the footsteps of the poor and humble Christ in order to serve the Church and the world.
The spirituality of the Community is rooted both in the Ignatian tradition and in the experience of the Charismatic Renewal.
